Meet The Team

Meet the experienced clinicians and educators who guide care, training, and professional excellence at MCC.

Nurse Practitioner - Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine

Director - Melbourne Cosmetic Centre

Robyn Kennedy is a Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of experience across dermatology, skin health, and aesthetic medicine. Known for her calm presence, clinical precision, and unwavering commitment to patient safety, Robyn has become a trusted educator and mentor for nurses and medical practitioners entering the aesthetic field.

Her career began in dermatology, where she developed extensive expertise in skin pathology, inflammatory skin disease, and long-term patient management. Over the years, she has contributed to research, clinical education, and several publications in dermatology — work that shaped her evidence-based, patient-centred philosophy.

Alongside her role at MCC Studio, Robyn continues to practise privately in dermatology, working collaboratively with leading dermatologists at Yarraville Dermatology, Digital Dermatology, and the Royal Children’s Hospital. This ongoing clinical work keeps her deeply connected to the diagnostic, medical, and long-term management aspects of skin health, enriching her approach to both aesthetic practice and education.
Robyn’s passion for cosmetic medicine emerged after completing her own injectables training at Melbourne Cosmetic Centre in 2019. She quickly recognised a gap within the industry: while many courses taught technique, few taught the deeper clinical reasoning required to practise safely. Practitioners were learning how to inject, but not why, where, or when not to.

In 2023, Robyn became Director of MCC Studio, leading its evolution into a boutique, integrated ecosystem offering clinical education, mentoring, product support, and a functioning cosmetic clinic. Her philosophy is simple:
When practitioners are educated thoughtfully and supported properly, the industry becomes safer for everyone.

At MCC, Robyn oversees curriculum development, clinical governance, and practitioner support programs. She works closely with nurses as they transition into aesthetic practice — guiding them through facial assessment, risk management, clinical documentation, adverse event protocols, and best-practice standards aligned with AHPRA.
Her teaching style is warm, clear, and deeply intentional.
She prioritises anatomy, ethics, and safe decision-making — values that have shaped MCC Studio into one of Australia’s most trusted training pathways.
In addition to her educator role, Robyn practices as a cosmetic injector within the MCC Clinic, offering subtle, natural aesthetic treatments that honour each patient’s unique facial structure. Her combined expertise in both dermatology and aesthetics allows her to achieve results that enhance confidence without compromising harmony or safety.

Robyn also holds postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery, further enriching her holistic, patient-centred approach to care.
Today, she leads MCC Studio with the same principle that has guided her entire career: Lead with care, act safely, and support clinicians at every step of their journey.

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist & National Educator

Clinical Trainer & Mentor - Melbourne Cosmetic Centre

Donna Cotton is a highly respected Aesthetic Nurse with more than 17 years of dedicated experience in cosmetic medicine, supported by an earlier 15-year career as a Clinical Educator. Her professional journey spans theatre nursing, consulting, cosmetic injecting, and national training roles — experience that has shaped her into one of the most knowledgeable and trusted educators in the industry.

Donna has spent the last five years as the National Clinical Nurse Specialist Trainer for Galderma, where she delivered advanced anatomy education, product training, and hands- on mentoring to clinicians across Australia. Her expertise in facial assessment, ageing physiology, and safe injecting principles has positioned her as a valued industry leader and a sought-after educator.

Alongside her national responsibilities, Donna has successfully operated her own cosmetic injecting business for the last 16 years. This dual perspective — both as a practitioner running a clinic and as an educator shaping the next generation of injectors — gives her a rare, holistic understanding of the aesthetic landscape. Donna deeply understands the challenges new practitioners face, the expectations of patients, and the importance of safe,
ethical practice.

At MCC Studio, Donna brings her signature blend of clinical precision, approachability, and passion for education. She teaches with warmth and clarity, making complex anatomical concepts accessible while ensuring practitioners understand the critical importance of safe techniques and patient-centred assessment.

Her greatest fulfilment comes from supporting nurses and doctors as they grow from novice to confident, capable injectors. Donna is known for her generous teaching style, her genuine investment in each student’s development, and her ability to nurture both skill and clinical judgment.

Dedicated, experienced, and deeply committed to elevating the standard of aesthetic practice, Donna embodies the MCC philosophy — anatomy first, safety always, and education that truly supports the practitioner.
